The Criteria

Who Qualifies

Eligibility for the Thaena Donor Program reflects whole-body health across time, not isolated metrics. Our standards are set by functional medicine professionals and continuously refined. Candidates must meet strict criteria, including:

•Age 18–45
•No history of chronic GI, autoimmune, metabolic, or inflammatory disease
•Healthy, stable BMI
•No history of mental health conditions
•Vaginal birth and breastfed in infancy
•Minimal antibiotics exposure over their lifetime
•Consistent, high-quality daily bowel movements
•No prescription medications
•Long-term whole-food dietary patterns
•No tobacco or recreational drug use
•Regular exercise and mindfulness-based practices

Final eligibility is determined through comprehensive clinical screening and advanced laboratory testing.

Fewer than 1% of applicants qualify.

We ask for a six-month initial commitment — enough time for us both to see the benefits of the relationship. If you need to pause at any point due to travel, illness, or stress, we'll always support you in prioritizing your health, because your health is our product.
