Microbiome Influencers (Environmental)+ Influences (Hormones, Neurotransmitters, Cytokines, and Fluctuations) - (1.5 General CE Credit)
Nutrition + The Microbiome Conference: The Environmental Influencers of Microbial Health
DESCRIPTION
This session will discuss all of the microbiome influencers (environmental
components) and how the microbiome itself influences so much more (i.e.
hormones, neurotransmitters, cytokines) through this balancing act.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
-
Discuss the role gut derived postbiotics play in communicating with the
rest of the human organ systems including the neurologic and immune
systems. -
Outline bacterial derived neurotransmitters that interact with the human
nervous system. - Evaluate the role the environmental toxins play in modulating the human
microbiome.
